DAPS

Dallas area parkinsonism society

The Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society (DAPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization founded in 1978. DAPS serves as a resource for the
Parkinson’s community by providing education; speech and exercise
classes; and support groups. DAPS services and programs are
provided free of charge or at a reduced rate for participants.

DAPS depends on memberships, donations, honorariums and
fundraisers. In addition, DAPS is able to fulfill our mission thanks
to the kindness of individuals and families who have been so touched
by our services that they remember us in their wills, trusts, and
foundations.

The local DAPS group meets at Grace on Wednesday mornings from 11:15 - Noon.
